You were all wondering... could it happen? Would it ever happen? Would Jorge Posada return? Well, if you look at all the great pictures of Laura and Jorge over the past year, you know that Jorge is loving retirement and his family!
Our pal Josie (Yank33_fan) sent me this great picture of Gio Gonzalez throwing a bullpen session last night and the catcher, is Jorge Posada. Now, I don't know how this came about. You have to assume they're friends, maybe Jorge's a mentor of some kind and it's also alittle photo op for Gio.
Gio clearly knew he'd get more exposure with Jorge as his backstop if it was photographed. Hundreds saw it and hundreds love it! Here's the video too:
Now look... we're Team Posada here at BYB. I'm lucky enough to have a normal dialog with Laura and thrilled that she allows us to share their life with the BYB readers. Yankee fans have always appreciated Jorge, and Laura and he raise their family right.
Just wanted to share this as well. So carry on now, and remember this; Believe you "can", and you will accomplish anything you want in life.
If Jorge quit when all the doubters said he should... we wouldn't even be talking about this, would we?
By the way, Laura is down at Yankees Fantasy camp in Tampa this week. There is no question we will be having some info on the week, some great pictures from Laura and we will definitely bring it to you here at Bleeding Yankee Blue... home of smart Yankee fans, home of Team Posada!
